Bella's first haircut! She did pretty good for a new 2 yr old. Yeah she turned 2 Jan 5th can you believe it?!! She sat in the sink, like she does everyday when I do her hair and I have 30 sec to a min before she is done. So I am pretty proud of my one minute haircut!!
I found these boots at Target a couple weeks ago on clearance for $6 and even in the store Bella demanded to wear them. She is a girly girl through and through! So this particular evening she was all ready for bed and had to put her boots on. You know that they get that second wind right before bed time! Wyatt had to be apart of the show so he went and got my boots on. Spiderman in mommies boots AWESOME!!

1 baked and cooled (9" size) pie shell
***BLUEBERRY APPLE FILLING***
1 can (15 ounce size) blueberries in heavy syrup, drained, reserving juice in one bowl, berries in another
1 1/2 cup water
1 cup finely diced red delicious apple
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
***SOUR CREAM TOPPING***
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon unflavored gelatin powder
2 tablespoons cold water
In a 2-quart saucepan combine diced apples with water, sugar, and salt at medium temperature until the apples are done but not mushy, about 10 minutes.
While apples are cooking mix cornstarch with 1/4 cup water and dissolve cornstarch. When apples are done add lemon juice and berry juice, cook and stir until blended. While stirring on medium heat add dissolved cornstarch slowly and stir constantly until thickened. Add berries and cinnamon mix through. Remove from heat and cool before placing into cooled prepared pie shell. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
Sour Cream Topping: Dissolve gelatin in 2 tablespoons water and set aside. Mix the sour cream, sugar, cream cheese, dash of salt in a pan warm on low heat until sugar in dissolved and everything is mixed thoroughly, stir and watch that mixture does not burn or dry out.
When all is smooth and blended add vanilla and stir. Then gradually add gelatin until mixture has a firm consistency of soft pudding, remove from heat. Sour cream topping may be smoothed over blueberries while lukewarm and chill. May be garnished with whipped cream.

This is the first year Wyatt has really gotten into the Holidays...Halloween was a serious hit and Thanksgiving was pretty good too. Christmas however is a serious deal! Since the first snow (back at the beginingg of October) Wyatt has asked almost daily if is Christmas time. He sings little made up songs about stars, Christmas time, baby Jesus, and snow. What fun it is to have him around to make Christmas time that much more fun!!!
Watt lost a finger nail after a run in he and a door and his finger had ouch!!!
Bella paints her pajamas, face and hands with finger nail polish I swear I hid last night
while cleaning that up she and Wyatt terrorize the kitchen with their breakfast and proceed to dump out a box of graham cracker crumbs. While I clean up that mess ( sweep and mop the floor, dishes, clean off Bella's baby etc.) Bella gets into my makeup. She proceeds to squeeze out a bottle of my foundation all over Wyatt's bed, the couch, her cloths, her face, and every surface of the bathroom. Just FYI foundation is like chocolate or blood, almost impossible to get out! Then I clean up that mess (which takes at least an hr), Put Bella in the bath which she poops in. Clean and disinfect the bathtub which had poop bits in it :). While cleaning the bathtub/the entire bathroom, Wyatt breaks my bedroom full length mirror.....glass bits everywhere. I vacuum and pick up the remnants of the mirror and through it all away. Just FYI I am still not showered and it is almost lunch time. Dan come home ...a miracle I know....and feeds the kids lunch while I go running. Oh yeah I sorted laundry and completed three loads all during this fun time. Moral of the story ..if a kid makes a mess don't clean it up cause you will just have more messes to clean up...just let your house be messy...and your kids too!

Today is the first snow of the season...Wyatt said to me "It's Christmas!" I wish! We are not super eventful however things do happen! Like Wyatt's face scrape! There is a scary sex offender man that just got out of prison and he moved in like a block away. Needless to say I am kinda paranoid about the whole thing and one night coming home ALONE with the kids to a dark house...... I got the kids out of the car (Bella and Wyatt were screaming who knows why?) and I was freaked out about someone popping out of the bushes etc. and Wyatt was refusing to go in the house so as I was directing him into the house he lost his step and caught himself on the pavement with his face. So now not only was I scared from the sex offender but I was a child abuser and both kids were screaming. We got in the house and calmed everything down...and then I suddenly smelled smoke. (It is 9:30-10:00 pm) My mind immediatly went to.."there is someone in my house who is smoking and it is probably that creepy guy down the street and he is here to hurt me and my kids." I called Dan who was just leaving Pocatello (it takes at least an hour to get home) and I was not doing well....I was embarassed at my inability to get a hold of my fear and freaking outness and Dan is in a carpool so I got off the phone with him...Then my friend called just cause and I was a crazy person! I am sure she was like who is this person not the Sarah I know..????Anyway while I was on the phone finding out thtat someone was burning a field for some reason in the dark Dan texts me and says he is sending the cops to check out the premises...so the cops came and I was embarassed and they checked out the premises:) I told the cop my fears of the sex offender and he was like oh we dont know all the sex offenders by name..I then told him his name etc and he knew tons about him...that comforting. He then went on to tell me that this particular man doesn't attack women in their home, he attacks them in public places. Anyway oh what a night!
Other than that story we pictures here of just some normal everyday stuff like dumping out a box of goldfish and jumping on them cause its fun....then cleaning them up, Bella getting in the tub fully dressed, and Wyatt enjoying the last few days of being able to take your cloths off and ride your bike:)
